All the times I've been both past, and in, Alston FireStation, I can not, honestly, say I was ever aware it was a grammar school once up a time.
As is often the case on a "taking off into the wild day" I was spoilt for choice.
So I chose this since Grammar Schools seem to be not quite what they were "when Ah waz a lad".
