West Cliff

We walked to Sandsend and then through Mulgrave Woods. The tide was in when we started our walk, so we had to wait for half an hour at the end of Whitby Sands before we could get round the rocks on to the long Sandsend beach. However that meant we arrived at Sandsend just in time for a lunch of crab sandwiches. A real treat!

My plan to post a holiday back-blip each day didn't survive first contact with reality! I'll try a couple a day to catch up.
