West Pier

A wet morning, so we didn't go out into Whitby until after lunch. This view is from the top of the lighthouse at the end of the West Pier. I didn't notice the lad climbing up (or down) the side of the pier when I took the photo.

Fishing for crabs in the harbour is a very popular activity. In my extra photo a boy has managed to catch a small fish instead. I also liked the view from underneath the deck of the pier. There is a lower level used just by a few anglers.
