Today was the last day of racing in the Manx Festival of motorcycling. I just happened to be in Ramsey and thought I had better have a look.

The motor cycle that you see had just slowed down to go through Parliament Square but was already accelerating so fast as to make it difficult to catch a picture.

So that's it then - the end of the motorcycling year and the end of the summer.
