Sunflowers

Just along the road from our house is an area where plants are grown specifically with wildlife in mind.  I drive past them almost every day.

Today we stopped, as the sunflowers had caught my eye.  A poster at the entrance to the field tells us that there are various plants all grown to provide seed through the winter for birds.  Despite the rain in the air, there were lots of bees enjoying the sunflowers.
