I went to the beach after dinner. I had to get away from the Teenager. Long story.

All I'll add is that our (Scottish) education system has been kidding itself for years. It is wretched. Glories in being better than (or at least different from) England, while the rest of the world sweeps by unseen.

Before anyone gets excited, I've seen the French & German systems at close quarters in the last 6-7 years, so better qualified than most to pass judgement.

The Blip is the view over towards Edinburgh.
