My day

Another water shot

This is the Macquarie River, usually a small water course which can be crossed easily enough if you don't mind getting a bit damp. It has gone down considerably since yesterday when the bridge we were crossing was underwater. This shows the park near the city centre where many people walk, jog or chill out. Most of the walk-ways are under water. I wonder where they went for the "Park run" on Saturday morning..., maybe it was a park-swim this week. It was a minor to moderate flood. We don't like it any wetter.

It was Father's Day today. We had morning tea with daughter number 1 and afternoon tea with our son. The other two children live in Sydney. They sent messages. It's always good to hear from them. My Dad passed away about 5 years ago. He was a good father and I think we miss him all year, not just on Fathers Day.
