New shed

We had a remarkably busy day.  I put a second coat on the fence, whilst W washed the windows in the garden room.

When we moved in, W adapted a Wendy House to make a garden shed (visible in the background here).  But it wasn't quite big enough for its purpose (storing the gardening equipment).  So we lashed out and got a new one - even paying for the firm to erect it.  It took the 2 lads less than 2hrs to construct it - it would have taken us all day.  The eventual plan is to have a sedum roof - but that probably won't happen this year.

After this, we took the train to London and attended a proms concert - Daniel Barenboim and Staatskapelle Berlin.  Very good it was too - I hadn't realised how small Barenboim was!  Unfortunately, we just missed the 2230 train home, so weren't in bed until 2am this morning.
