Naming of Parts

With apologies to Henry Reed:

To-day we have naming of parts. Yesterday,
We had layering. And to-morrow morning,
We shall have what to do after layering. But to-day,
To-day we have naming of parts.

I remember Henry Reed's famous war poem better than I remember how to re-assemble a Lee Enfield. Anyway, these are the parts of the sweet pea, top left: the large vertical petal at the back is the 'standard' or banner; top right, beneath the standard are two lateral petals referred to as the 'wings'; bottom left, beneath the wings are a further two petals join to form the 'keel' which, bottom right, encloses the reproductive structures - ten orange-brown anthers supported on thin white filaments around a single hairy green pistil formed of the stigma and style.
