Hag Farm Road

Another lovely warm and sunny September day: a few degrees cooler than yesterday so it made our walk much more pleasant.
It also helped that l was dressed more suitably as yesterday l wore a much warmer top and trousers and felt as if I were being roasted alive.
Rebecca and l weaved our way up towards the moor and dropped down into Menston before getting back to my house.
I took this shot at the farm we walked through, l've taken many, many photographs here and have never blipped them because there are always the wires invading the shot.
Decided today that l'm never going to get this view without having them in so why not just publish it.
In the horizon you can see the nipple that is Almscliffe Crags ( which Jeanneb had in her blip a couple of days ago) and to the right is The Chevin at Otley.
After a cuppa we went to the little garden nursery l go to in Ilkley that is at the start of The Dales Way.
Our purpose was to enquire when to buy copper beech hedging plants.
When Rebecca moved into her new home last year the builders did some landscaping in the front garden and about six of the plants that make up the hedge hadn't taken.
Lovely lady there told us to come back at the end of October when they will have them in.
Thanks to Cailleach for hosting WildWednesday.
