Solitary.

After a shock cloudburst earlier in the morning, normal service returned and Rebecca and l took the opportunity for another walk in some glorious sunshine.
This time we dropped down to the riverside path at Ben Rhydding and headed towards Ilkley. Went over the suspension bridge and into Middleton Woods then upwards towards the monastery.
We crossed a large field that offered spectacular views of the town and the moor but then came to the top path and l saw this solitary tree that had to be my blip for today.
We snaked down to the river and took the same path back.
Defrosted the freezer ( not my favourite job) as l needed some space for all the double portions of ratatouille that l made last night to use up a glut of courgettes and onions from the raised beds in the garden, l substituted mushrooms for aubergine.
