Seedlings

At the allotment I spent quite a while devising a sort of mesh cage, to a design by Mr H Robinson, with the aim of keeping the fat ba*tards off the seedlings. These have all shot up in ten days - great what a bit of heat and humidity can do. Left to right from the top, Texel greens, spinach, radish, red pak choi, winter lettuce and last but not least, claytonia. I've never grown it before, but it's going like a train. Aka miners' lettuce. Hmm...
