River deep

The water seemed so eerily still this morning and higher than I've seen it in weeks. This was taken on our way back from the beach, when the sun had come out and a glorious day was promised. On the way there, however, it was pouring down and I doubt I even glanced at the river as my hood kept me blinkered like a race horse. I think it looks beautiful here, though; like a bath moments before a dripping tap plops and disturbs the calm.
