The Way of Colour

Graffito

18C not much breeze. After a coolish start the day warmed up and the sun came out.

Apothecary7 had her day off today so it was Broughty Ferry this morning with an unexpected visit to a shoe shop. Some strange reasoning to do with a "sale" sign! Thankfully there was coffee in Caffe Nero and a walk around the harbour area with Maeve the Deerhound afterwards. The blip is a graffito from a selection of graffiti on the spiral stairway to the top of the little viewing platform at the Harbour ... and it is blue :-)

Once we got home but before lunch we took Maeve for a longer walk. No bridle path today because I got soaked from the knees down yesterday in the wet grass (oops!). For a change we walked down towards the shore, over a pedestrian bridge across the railway line, and along Carnoustie's seafront towards the golf hotel then back along the High Street and up though the streets to loop around to home. Lots of people wanted to stop and talk to Maeve today. She enjoyed the attention but resisted her showing off act which involves taking her lead in her mouth and shaking it, or bouncing very high in the air. That can be awkward in a busy High Street!

Later ... Apothecary7 has been painting. I have been watching Olympics on telly.
