It worked....
...and produced the chuckle in me I expected.

A squash partner is somewhat of a tin hat off the grid type. Doesn't Facebook, hardly emails and is a bit sketchy in answering te the messages. Couple that with a preference for night shift work and you have some sketchy communication channels.

After three unanswered texts over as many weeks I decided to go old school and send him a letter. It worked.... got a text reply exactly when I expected and response to the threat of telegram ming the next request.
