Some people really try to complicate things sometimes. I got presented with a requirements document earlier in the week and with best intentions, there was this absolutely diabolical horrendous piece of code written in it.

It could have possibly worked but I just didn't give it the time of day and I subtly told it's writer much the same.

I figured it more efficient to understand the end result then work logical simple steps to get there instead of one huge messy complicated leap.

I think I wrote less code in the 8 steps I used than were in that one chunk of messiness.
