Water's Edge

Chris got up early in St. Moritz to photograph the sunrise over the beautiful lake. After a hearty breakfast, we then set off towards our main stop of the day: one of the world's longest Alpine Coasters (essentially a toboggan on a rollercoaster track, driven by gravity).

Along the way, we stopped at a few beauty spots, including this view at the reservoir at Marmorera. When the water was still, it was a stunning mirror reflecting the mountains.

Three fast runs down the coaster (the last of which we shared a toboggan for extra weight and therefore speed), and a trip up the local cable car, made a fun stop for the close of our time in the mountains.

We headed for the evening to close friends' near Zurich. As we drove past the Liechtenstein border, we couldn't resist "popping in" to the little country - just because it was there. A lovely catch up over a Pizza dinner with these old friends.
