refineries in the baytown-pasadena texas area

some of these photos have been graphically altered using pic-monkey. these were taken in the industrial area near where i grew up---which has totally changed in the past twenty years, i haven't been there in at least fifteen years and it was like an alien landscape to me, i hardly recognized the area.  we used to call the area "cancer row" because of the percentage of cancer people who worked in the refineries (and petro-chemical plants) and who lived in the area were victims of.
