The Downy Family

3rd day in a row for a good row (!) but it was downhill after that.   Decided to see if we could take my new boat (I’ve changed my avatar to this boat from my old beloved Dory) out at the boat ramp down the way …. we did it without having a heart attack but it won’t happen again —it’s too hard (too steep) .  anyway, it’s in a good spot for now —I think eventually it will have to live on the dock and we’ll have to figure out how to keep the otters out of it. Then I had to clean the refrigerator —a terrible job …. the raccoons will eat well tonight!
Had planned to blip the new driftwood sculpture before we left for the summer but it still needs some key pieces…….  
So you get this family of downy woodpeckers that were hanging out for a long time outside the cabin.   I’m not so good a bird photos but I liked watching the 3 of them flit about .. they all had a sample of the suet… and I liked the female on the Doug fir tree with the wire that runs up another 95 feet and can see the internet repeater in Montague harbor.  We didn’t always have that and are quite happy that we do.
And now I have to close up the laptop and the studio —we are out of here in the morning!
