Autumnal change around

Change is a good as a rest they say...Plans changed today but all good in the end. Had intended to get some chores done, wash Grandma hair and take her and I shopping. Sadly she has been unwell today so whilst wanting to do things initially she has pretty much slept all day.

Decided as it was a very rainy day to stay home. Hattie came round to play with Jack, I made delicious beef in red wine with mushrooms to slowly simmer away during the day. Made a yummy soup to use up lots of veggies from the garden and the fridge. Also made pizza dough for the boy to make his own pizza for dinner.

Then hubby and I decided to crack on with the annual post summer change round of where we have our dining table in the autumn/winter as the new carpet arrived today.. Blip is post change round and new carpet.

Early bed tonight as woke at 4.30 am and couldn't get back to sleep so gave up in the end but shattered now!
