Windermere

I completed my journey up to The Lakes - though it didn't all quite go as planned. My aim was for an early start from Telford with a stop for "Full English" on the way.  Sadly, the place I chose for a much needed "comfort break" didn't provide cooked breakfasts, so I had to make to with a sausage bap (lovely) and a cup of coffee.

My next aim was to try out Hardknott Pass - but between the Sat Nav and my manual map reading skills I just ended up seemingly going in circles round the S.Lakes. So instead I sat on the side of Windermere for lunch enjoying the view before heading up to Keswick for the start of my Photo workshop.
