Road trip this weekend to hang out with Kevin.

He was playing his first Minneapolis show and I decided to go. Took Friday off of work and drove out there.

I've visited Minnesota before and thought it was a pretty state -- it's really pretty in the winter, I think. Regardless, Minneapolis is also a beautiful city. I was excited to visit.

His parents were there so we watched Kevin play and then all of us watched the other bands play while observing the interesting people in the audience.. notably:
-Asian guy with glasses.
-Stache guy.
-"Kramer"
-The Peruser.
-The drawing chick.
-That guy passed out on his girlfriend and then on the table.

Okay, the guy that called Kevin to play the show played his set with 2 guys who toured with Bon Iver. Kevin and I both looked at each other in shock when he announced it because we couldn't believe he really had just said that haha It was AWESOME.

A fantastic Friday night all around.. especially since it ended with watching Deep Blue Sea.. and laughing hysterically. Oh, and we were followed by Night Rider.

Awesome.
