Kowhai . . . Yellow

I'm home with cough and haven't felt like doing anything.  A lot of sleeping happened.  I took  this blip of the small kowhai tree on our front lawn.   I love the way the clusters of golden flowers appear on almost bare branches.  I also love the shape of them with that little cap on top and the petals curving down.  They are another of natures design master pieces.
