Bit of a poser!

Ran out of time to post this on Monday ..... I am also very behind with commenting ..... will do my best to catch up with you all :-)


Finally managed to reach somebody this morning ....... the roofers came to look ..... laid heavy plastic sheeting down in the loft 'just in case' & are coming on Thursday morning to repair the roof ..... hopefully that will be the end of it!

The landlords sent someone round to examine & photograph the damage that the water had caused (see Saturday's blip) as I had told them if the mattress was permanently damaged we would be putting in a claim! Surprising how quickly thing can be done when they want!

Our mattress is a Tempur memory foam ..... very expensive ..... & not supposed to get wet! We contacted the company & it seems we did the right thing & hopefully there should be no permanent damage ..... the only problem might be mould ..... which we need to keep a look out for. Fingers crossed

Just hope life gets a little less 'exciting' now!
