Beach huts

The quintessential English seaside scene. A row of brightly painted beach huts at Stone Bay, Broadstairs on the North East Kent Coast.

Another very hot day and we paddled in the sea to keep cool.

At another bay, known as Botany Bay we noticed a very large yacht moored just off the coast. A bit of research later showed this to be a super yacht costing £225million belonging to a Russian oligarch. He has a bigger and better one on order for 2017. What was it doing moored off the Thanet coast?  - perhaps a trip to Dreamland - a  1950's theme park in Margate. Last week it was moored in London on the Thames next to the old warship HMS Belfast.
According to the Daily Mail (no comments please) the wealthy Russian businessman  is a great philanthropist - so it's  okay then, that he has so much wealth for himself.
