Fire Station & Tea Room

Slept like a log :-) wish I could get ten hours like that every night........didn't move a muscle, woke up with a crick in my neck ;-)

Up and out, same journey as yesterday, but over to pick up sis this time as we were going into Manchester for a blue badge guided tour of London Road Fire Station. More info via the link below.

Our guide told us that our tour is the penultimate one before work starts on the renovation and restoration. Of the station, which will ultimately become a restaurant with outside seating and a thoroughfare into Piccadilly Station, which will be such a beautiful, space, as its. Grade II listed building :-)

After our tour we took a short walk to the Richmond Tea Rooms, where we had reservations for Afternoon Tea.

What a little gem this place is, if ever you're in Manchester, it's a must. The afternoon tea was fabulous darhhling :-)

After I'd dropped sis back at home I drove home, got in about 4.15 and found hub sat in the garden topping and tailing mor beans ;-) I changed into shorts and a vest top and did a bit more cutting back in the garden to get rid of a few calories ;-)

It's still pretty warm now, hopefully more of the same tomorrow :-)
