the last family backpack -1981

The 14 year old didn't want to go and we nearly left him at the trailhead. (actually we did leave him)  But after a while he passed us on the trail.  You can almost see Mt. Rainier in the background.  We had some lovely trips on this mountain...  never hiked the whole way around (90 miles) but did most of it in pieces...
