Lake Otsego

We are now in Cooperstown, NY. Therein lies a story. My husband did a PhD thesis on James Fenimore Cooper over 40 years ago. I promised to bring him to Cooperstown, founded by JFC's father. It has taken some years to fulfill that promise. This was taken at the lake front at dusk with a nearly full moon. Most people come here for the Baseball Hall of Fame. We came via Cooper's Cave in Glens Falls on the Hudson River, scene of a dramatic moment in 'The Last of the Mohicans'.
