The Ant and the Grasshopper

This shot, taken in a local seaside meadow, reminds me of the fable ""The Ant and the Grasshopper." In the fable, the ant worked hard to store up food for the winter, while the grasshopper couldn't be bothered, and played.  The starving grasshopper ends up asking for assistance from the ant.  In this photo, the roles appear to be reversed, as the ant is reaching out to the grasshopper.
At any rate, I was happy to have my 400mm lens out again today.  Although it was interesting to focus on landscapes for a few days, my real love is in finding flowers and critters.
