Flower Friday

The host of Flower Friday, BikerBear, is too busy lying on a beach in some exotic clime to set a theme for this week, which is probably just as well as far as I'm concerned. Back in the Spring I planted bedding plants including this alyssum, which gave a great display for several weeks and then all the flowers disappeared. I was happy with that, but then a couple of weeks ago they came back into bloom and were covered in tiny white flowers and a wonderful honey fragrance. You gardeners out there will have known they would do that but for me it was a nice bonus.

Today, when the sun came out, they smelled superb and were covered in different hover flies and bees.
