Autumn Crocus.

While Mrs TD was delivering Linus quilts and attending a fellow quilter’s funeral, I was hurriedly grabbing a Blip and doing the weekly shop. It bothers me that, for several good and valid reasons, Friday is the designated shopping day which includes lunch at the local garden emporium (their coffee really is good) which leaves little time to concentrate on the Flower Friday challenge.
 
I do like the Autumn crocuses, as do the honeybees and the sparrows but, as a result of the wind that whistles round the side of the house combined with the damage caused by the birds as they forage for the pollen, the flowers become very bedraggled, very quickly. In most years, their Blipportunity lasts barely a week.
