An inland tour for a change

This is  a group of building called Hepburn Bell off the Chatton to Old Bewick road, with the Cheviot Hills in the background.
What took my eye (apart from the composition with the field and buildings) was the surprisingly rich nutty brown colour of the fields of stubble, they are exactly as shown here and I haven't altered the colour saturation.
I was so taken with them that I managed to get my legs nettled climbing up the roadside bank as I am too short to reach over the hedge they always seem to put round fields where there is a view you have glimpsed from the car!
I had to be wearing shorts, didn't I?
(Bur rubbing with a Dock leaf sorted the problem out!)
