...Olympic Officials Sanction Mimsy!

In a shocking turn of events, officials charged Mimsy with hogging all the peanuts at the buffet.  Mimsy denied all charges and suggested that the officials have it in for full-figured chippies.  All sides have been ordered into a mandatory cooling off period.

In other news, the race intensifies in gymnastics between Team Nuthatch and Team DWP with no clear winner declared yet.  The Cardinals have gotten over the bad-hair incident and gotten back into the game.  Team Chipping Sparrow put in a valiant showing in the 100 meter dash, their star athlete looking a bit worse for the wear at the end of the  race.  Team Hummie is strongly favored to win the Gymnastics All Around although they still have to get past the chickadees.  Recaps of today's competitions can be seen at Tallyho Blipfolio News

Your intrepid reporter/photographer is still feeling under the weather and is now hacking in a way that is upsetting the competitors.  In fact, they've asked that I refrain from getting too close as I am scaring the athletes.  Pansies.  (oops, did I say that out loud?)

In other non-Olympic news, the interview the local paper did with me ran today, along with several of my blipfoto entries.  If you'd like to have a read, it will be available for a limited time HERE.  I am very pleased with the story the reporter wrote and hope that it may reach some people who are struggling with their own challenges, as well as introduce other photographers to Blip.

Thanks much for playing along with this week's Olympic theme.  As you have probably guessed, I've been having fun with it, and if I've made you laugh, so much the better!  If you missed yesterday's remote entry from NatureLover, be sure to check it out - synchronized swimming gold medal winning frogs!

I hope to get caught up with journals/comments tonight, in between watching the real Olympics.

BREAKING NEWS!!!  Medal awarded to Michigan Squirrel Sandy for her impressive dismount in the Balance Beam.
