Waxeye duo

Taking photos of birds against white blossom and white sky takes a fair bit of fiddling with settings!

The only native birds I've seen around Temuka have been various seabirds and the waxeyes.  But there certainly seem to be plenty of these cheeky wee guys.  There is a group of them flitting in the pittosporum outside my window as I type this.  But they're more photogenic in blossom!
