Pulsatilla vulgaris.....

.....also known as Pasque flower, it is a species belonging to the buttercup family. I've admired it many times here on blip and decided it was one I had to have but sourcing it took some time and effort, this one is Violet Bells.

A strange day weather wise, foggy on our way to the airport to collect A, puffy powerful clouds in the distance, overcast, making way to lovely sun round noon until 3pm when grey clouds took over the sky. It's been calm and mild throughout.

A Sunday of being 'out and about' drinking tea or coffee, eating cake and then a wander round my garden, pleasant and most enjoyable.
