Beacon in the Pacific

We left Salem, OR and headed south on I-5. The last part of the drive from Oregon via rt. 199 into California was not fun for me, considering my newly understood phobia of mountain roads. But once we arrived in the redwood forest on rt. 101, I knew the drive was worth it. This was also our first opportunity to see the Pacific Ocean on this trip so that had to be my blip today. It was nearing sunset and cloudy but hey, it is the ocean. Redwoods tomorrow if I can take a worthy photo.
