Yesterday (Saturday) I bought some new plants to add some autumn colour and replace some tired looking ones. I finally found a Japanese Lantern (Physalis alkekengi) which are everywhere here but hard to buy. I love the bright orange papery covers over the seeds. They look particularly good when they dry to a skeleton. It was rather expensive and, ironically, I found a patch of them today and pulled out some to plant at home.
The photo today is (obviously) not a Lantern but a one of the new plants - anemone flower.
