Farewell to Rev'd Liz

It was a very emotional service at St Luke's this morning, as it was the last one that our lovely Curate Liz presided at before moving on to be in charge of her own parish in Tendring. We returned to the church a little later for a special farewell lunch in honour of Liz and her husband Mick. The place was packed, and the love in the room for Liz was palpable. She's a very special person, and will be very much missed. As one of the first two candidates Liz prepared for confirmation, I know she will go on to do great things in her future ministry.
