Hello autumn

Given the number of cloud inversions this week, I think autumn has arrived.

It was a delight to meet just one runner on the moors while everyone else was having a Sunday morning lie in.  There were a couple more people starting to make their way up as we came back down.  We sat in the sunshine for a good quarter of an hour before reentering the slowly lifting fog.

Rich then suggested he accompany me on a gentle bike ride to Otley and Addingham. It took my mind off worrying about my calf as I cycled and I think he quite enjoyed waltzing round for a change!  I'm perfecting the art of one-legged pedalling up the steeper bits and the flat bits seem fine.  Taking it fairly easy.  Hoping it pays off.
