La vida de Annie

Derelict Domingo

The rainclouds parted long enough for a trip up the high hill to the abandonned US army base at S'Enclusa. Here's Minnie acting at home in front of the least damaged building, while Buster was off barking his butt off at a campervan full of hippies outside the perimeter fence (we knew where it had been breached from the last visit). As he wasn't born the last time we came here, he claimed it as his army base. There was some new artwork, a lot of tasteless scrawlings, and a much advanced state of decay (see extra). Health and safety being a very different matter here than in the UK, there were no signs warning of danger or prohibiting entry, even though metal panels are hanging off the ceilings just waiting for a delicate cranium to drop on with their razor-shrp edges. On the other hand, immediately after the recent forest fire, new notices appeared, right next to the blackened stubbly wasteland, warning about dangerous fires - durr.
