Graduation Day......

Very privileged today to actually get to see the graduation ceremony at The Barbican of a friend receiving her OU degree, a BA (Hons)  in Childhood and Youth Studies.  I DO admire her and it was such a thrill to join her family on this very special day. A very impressive venue, lots of clever and diligent students and Incredibly proud family and friends celebrating together!

We began the day at Borough Market having caught the train to the brand new London Bridge station. On a Saturday it was pretty empty, but it is HUGE, and there are many hiccups apparently! Borough Market was very busy and the food really is amazing! We enjoyed a shredded roast duck ciabatta ....and then a delicious vanilla filled doughnut....no prob-lem!
