Lake District, day 4 of 4 - Surprise view

Our final day here in the Lake District.
We (Ron, Herman and I) headed for the jetty on the banks of Derwentwater this morning, but changed our plans as soon as we saw mist floating above the water.
Only one option left: go high.

A quick change in our navigation and before we knew it we parked at Surprise view. And a surprise we got! What a great view we had.
After a while we had another surprise: Mr. John Cravett dropped in as well.
It was nice to meet you Mr. Cravett!

All in all a fantastic finale.

Later today we fly back to our flatland, The Netherlands. The Lake District fun is over unfortunately. But we take a lot of pixels and memories back home with us.

Tomorrow it's back to normal mode again...
