Not on the List

This morning we did our monthly Wetland Birds survey. It was dull and drizzly, but fortunately, visibility was reasonable. There were no fewer than 33 Mandarin Ducks on the reservoir. We didn't see any new species for the area unless you count this Hen of the Woods - Grifola frondosa, which is a new one for me.
