This handsome red sandstone building is the Church Hill Theatre, in Morningside, Edinburgh.
It was built originally as the Morningside Free Church, but was converted into a theatre in the 1960's.
Tonight , and for the next four, it is the scene of the Dance Show rehearsals, with the actual performances taking place this Friday evening, a matinee on Saturday, and a final performance on Saturday evening.
A lot of churches have been converted to other uses in Edinburgh. And like a lot of other Edinburgh churches it was never completed.
Money ran out before the spire or in this case the campanile was built.
You can see it's square base to the right of the main building.
Rehearsals are scheduled to finish at 20:30, which means 21:00, so I expect that No 2 and 3 will be tired.
Especially No 2 though, because she sat, and passed, her driving test theory exam this morning at 08:00!
