Flamenco In Seville

Seville, where we are currently staying, is well known for its interruption of flamenco. You cannot walk the twisting, pedestrian paths of the Bario de Santa Cruz without running into advertisements for flamenco dances that evening at the various establishments throughout the bario. We were not up to late night extravaganzas, but fortunately ran across this troop performing on our way to breakfast this morning. With UNESCO listing flamenco as an intangible cultural heritage (culturally important traditions, practices and rituals) in 2010 we were not totally surprised to find these five women and one man were being filmed in front of the statue just down from our hotel. Lots of lookylo photographers, like me, took advantage of this stupendous setting to capture these artists in action.
