Levento, Italy

This blip is put in the followng morning as I was totally munted last night, both being tucked up by 9.30 !!  Gracious!

The day was huge, with lots of lugging and carrying some distance our luggage, particularly in Pisa and again after getting off the train in Levento (down hill here). We so very nearly went to Milano, as Doug had us in this train, fortunately I was uneasy about it and asked.  A mad dash outside not easy with our luggage.  Note to self:  Take much less next time if there is a next time???

The wee seaside town of Levanto is delightful, the beach divine, the tiny narrow streets, the terracotta roofs, the warm coloured buildings with green shutters, the language which is so interesting but confusing.

We were having breakfast before 6 am in Manchester and not arriving here until 4 pm, we definitely deserved a rest.  Then off to the beach just for a paddle and walked to one end then the other.  Brown bodies everywhere with lots of skin both young & old !!!
Then took to a walking track through many tunnels (aha, nice and cool) for a walk along the coast.Magnificent!

Ice-cream and pizza (in that order) finished off our meanderings.

Our room is near the beach, up three flights and has two windows with baloney's, just lovely.

For those following my blog, there won't be any entries from here but maybe later when time allows :)
