Sunlit loch

The Bishop's Glen is one of the first places I walked in Dunoon, somewhere very close to home where it's possible to feel as if I'm in the wilds when I've only walked 15 minutes from my door. It's especially attractive in the morning; it was more or less afternoon by the time I took this photo but I liked the way the sun shone on the loch while we were in the shade of the wooded pathway along its bank.

Because it was a lovely morning, I'm adding an extra photo - a pano of Dunoon and the Firth beyond, taken from the hillside to the north of the Glen. Today, in fact, I took the long way round ...
