Quod oculus meus videt

View for the Window

A busy day of meetings meant that by the time I left work the heavens had opened and heavy rain had replaced the drab grey of the day.  I watched from the kitchen window in the vain hope it might let up before nightfall, but it didn't.

Tomorrow is the astronomical start of autumn in the northern hemisphere. For someone like me, who mainly photographs outdoors, it provides additional challenges as I can often be at work before sunrise and not leave until darkness has descended.  Fortunately we still have the colours of autumn to look forward to, but for daily diarists like us, it means extra effort is needed in finding subjects for Blipfoto.  For those if you in the southern hemisphere, you provide glimpses of the beauty awaiting us as we awaken from winter.
