If you can't beat them...

Pheasant

We get a good number of pheasants wandering into the garden up to eight at a time last winter.  This summer it has mainly been a female and her chicks.  Today four of them were wandering around the lawn and scratching about like domestic chickens,  One stayed in the Irises while I was about 4 feet away at the feeders.

I had no reason to go anywhere and am still lacking in inspiration so today's shot is a pheasant  through the window while she was pecking around the fallen seed below the feeders.
