Company has arrived!

Our good family friend has arrived. I grew up beside her family and her eldest son was best friends with my brother. She was also my mother's best friend and as such has become my surrogate mother since my mother's passing 8 years ago. She (R) is an amazing seamstress and made my wedding gown as well as the whole bridal party, over 31 years ago. R is staying with us for 2.5 weeks and came out specifically to attend a breast cancer fundraising gala this weekend. R loves this specific scotch (which i had waiting for her when she arrived) and brought me this Steve Jobs book to read, at my request. Looking forward to 2.5 weeks of fun and girly things!
